If you use Trip tracker as a customer, the AutoNexus mobile app may access your device location—including in the background while a trip you started is active—to record your route and driving statistics until you tap End trip.
When a garage or parts shop enables a public listing, we may publish selected business information on our marketing website (for example garage and parts shop directory pages) and in discovery files such as sitemaps. This helps users find businesses through search engines and on-site search.
We do not publish private customer records on public directory pages. If you browse without signing in, we may process technical data (such as IP address and user-agent) to deliver pages securely.
The AutoNexus mobile app may request permissions depending on features you use:
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, our legal bases may include performance of contract, legitimate interests (including operating listings you enable and preventing abuse), legal obligation, and consent (for example optional device permissions).
We may share personal data with garages, retailers, and drivers you interact with; infrastructure providers acting on our instructions; map/geocoding providers; and regulators or professional advisers where required by law.
When you install the app through Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms and privacy policies apply to store-specific processing.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
When users submit in-app reports or use blocking features, we process related identifiers, content references, report reasons, and moderator notes to enforce platform safety.
We use third-party services including Firebase (Google) for push notifications, Google Maps/geocoding for location features, cloud hosting and database providers, and configured email/SMS or messaging gateways. Each provider processes data under its terms and our agreements.
If data is transferred across borders, appropriate safeguards are applied where required by law.
Our websites and signed-in web app may use essential cookies or local storage for security, sessions, and basic functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the marketing site in the current release. The mobile app stores tokens and preferences locally rather than using browser cookies.
We retain data only as long as necessary for service operation, legal compliance, accounting, and security needs. Public directory information remains visible while the business keeps its listing enabled.
Trip tracker data on your device remains until you delete trips, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, object, and request portability of your data.

We apply technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No system is completely risk-free.
AutoNexus is not directed to children where parental consent is required by local law.
