1. How to delete from the app
- Open AutoNexus app - More tab - Settings - Account - Delete Account.
- Confirm with your account password.
- Your account is marked for deletion immediately and fully anonymised/removed within 30 days.
2. How to delete by email request
- Send email to [email protected] from the email address registered on your account.
- Subject: "Delete my AutoNexus account".
- Include: full name and registered phone number.
- We respond within 5 business days to confirm deletion handling.
3. What is deleted
- Personal information: name, email, phone, address/profile data.
- Photos: profile photos, vehicle photos, inspection photos uploaded by you.
- Vehicles: transferred away or deleted, depending on ownership status and workflow.
- Notifications, preferences, and biometric settings.
- Marketplace messages and content reports attributable to your account are anonymised.
4. What is retained (and why)
- Financial records (invoices, payments, refunds): retained for 7 years for tax/accounting compliance.
- Audit/security logs (login and security events): retained for 1 year for fraud prevention and security investigations.
- Job records: if you were a customer/staff member of a garage, operational records remain on the garage account but personal identifiers are removed.
- Aggregated analytics: anonymous usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.
5. Special role considerations
- Garage owners: if you are the only owner of a garage tenant, transfer ownership to another staff member (or close the tenant) before deletion. Contact support for coordination.
- Drivers: active driver assignments must be completed or cancelled before deletion can proceed.
- Customers: vehicle handling (transfer/deletion) depends on your ownership and deletion choices.
